dc.description.abstract | The number of card payments continued to rise in 2013. Norwegian residents remain among the leading users of card payments per year, while the number of ATM withdrawals and point-of-sale (POS) withdrawals declined. This may indicate that cash transactions are steadily falling in Norway. Card transactions abroad and internet purchases using cards continued to increase sharply in 2013. As a result, the use of international payment cards accounts for an increasingly larger share of total card transactions. | nb_NO |
