In 2020, the social costs for domestic payment services amounted to 0.79 percent of mainland GDP. Costs as a share of mainland GDP have decreased somewhat since the previous survey in 2013 if we use the same survey format. More payments are being made than before, and the average cost per payment has decreased. Payment costs in Norway appear to be low compared to other countries.en_US
