dc.description.abstract | The Norwegian securities settlement system was modernised in the spring of 2003, and the Norwegian Central Securities Depository (VPS), which had been a foundation, became a public limited company. Services related to securities settlements and the organisation of central securities depositories are also undergoing change in other countries. This article examines important changes in Norway and identifies some of the main trends in the Nordic countries and Europe in general. Against this background, we outline some possible future trends. | nb_NO |
