dc.description.abstract | The strong growth in payment card use continued in 2015. The average number of card transactions per inhabitant in 2015 was 391. Payments abroad and over the internet represent a rising share of total payments. This contributed to faster growth in the use of international cards than in the use of BankAxept. Reduced ATM and point-of-sale (POS) withdrawals indicate that cash is becoming less and less widely used in Norway. | nb_NO |
