This Norges Bank Paper describes the framework for Norges Bank’s decisions on the CCyB and is organised as follows:4 Section B explains what the CCyB is and how it relates to other capital requirements. Section C describes the principles that Norges Bank follows when it makes decisions on the CCyB rate. Section D provides a description of the information basis for Norges Bank’s assessment of the CCyB rate. A more detailed review of indicators is provided in the Appendix.
